This Saturday, July 7th, Mike Tod will be doing a CD release show at The Area (1119 10th Ave SE), for his new album titled The Northern Country.
Mike sent over this great song off the album, titled Back To My Home, played on a two string banjo-uke, while stomping on his 1942 Eaton Co. suitcase:

Penny Project, our current fundraiser with Village Brewery is ending this Friday!
Get your growlers filled with pennies in to the brewery (5000 12A Street Southeast) by Friday at 5PM in exchange for a free growler of beer.
Don’t have enough pennies to fill your growler? Bring them down to Haight Gallery, Friday June 22nd, from 7-10 PM for the Half-Growler Social – combine your pennies with others to fill a growler, and get to know each other over some free beer!
Once you’ve got your growlers in hand, stick around for a show at Haight Gallery presented in conjunction with Sled Island. The three secret bands will be revealed here on Fresh Bread, Friday morning! Haight’s current exhibition, Painting 101 by Calgary-based Kent Merriman Jr. will also be on display.
